Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand."

Sunshine breakfast
I love the sweet smell of dawn -
our unique daily opportunity to smell time,
to smell opportunity -
each morning being, a new beginning.

Sunshine flowermarkets on rainy sunday bikerides
Today I took my bike and went for a ride in the rain, stoppet at the sunday open flowermarket and walked around for an hour until I found a few green plants to bring home with me. The sun was shining in the roof while I was there, but when I got outside again, it was raining...

Broken...
"The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry."
~ Ernest Hemingway, A Farewell to Arms, 1929 - US author & journalist (1899 - 1961) ~
I tend to notice things that are hidden... Like this blue broken bowl on the beach, just laying around with all the stones - like someone just forgot it there.

Simplicity
"Time cools, time clarifies; no mood can be maintained quite unaltered through the course of hours."
~ Mark Twain - US humorist, novelist, short story author, & wit (1835 - 1910) ~
Forces of nature
"Always behave like a duck - keep calm and unruffled on the surface but paddle like the devil underneath."
~ Jacob Braude ~
The sea... I just can't live without it - like the smell of salty water coming into shore or the sound of the magical waves on a stormy day...
Bitten by sunshine
Just love this bright yellow, shining at me - like the sun on a warm summerday...
Pick them up,
hold them in your hand,
feel them close,
to your heart.

Apricot Dream
The best dessert... sweetness of apricots and vanilla ice-cream, covered with salt pistachios.
You can always taste ? But you can't have it all, since I'm addicted to this lovelyness :))
Gorgeous cookbook
"Vintermat"/"Winterfood". Loving this book, the pictures, the recipes. I know it says winterfood - but I love it for all seasons. I can just get lost in this beautiful book, made in thick paper...
There is something about books, that makes me smile and make me smile for ages. When you add cooking into the picture as well, then it gets even better. This book is down to earth, heartfilled and warm cooking - no fuzz...
A book for comfort, made by; Gitte Heidi Rasmussen & Inge Skovdal - published by "Schibsted publishing house".
